About the Notary Public
Dorm Notary is an independent public notary that provides notarization of documents during flexible hours, affordable student prices, and convenience. It is located on the UCLA campus during late hours, from 6:00pm to 11:30pm by prior appointment only. The cost of having a document notarized is only $8 (regular prices charged by most notaries is $10).
Clara Tsao is the notary public, who has been commissioned by the Secretary of State of California for a term of four years to provide the following services: taking acknowledgments,administering a jurat, taking a power of attorney, certifying a copy of a power of attorney, taking an advance health care directive, providing copies of journal entries, demanding debts or protesting non-payments, and confidential marriages. She is fluent in Spanish, English, and Mandarin and can notarize documents for Spanish and Mandarin speaking clients who cannot speak English.
